I started this project for the Artstation Feudal Japan Challenge back in November 2018 after being captivated by Glenn Van Driel's concepts. In the end, I really didn't have the time to finish the three props necessary to submit but decided I would finish this one as best as I could in my free time.
It was the opportunity to work on a project that has a much more realistic look than I usually do.
It was a journey full of challenges and growth and I'm happy with the final outcome.
